Month 1: Mastering the Art of Shading and Textures

Week 1: Welcome to Advanced Drawing

  • Understanding intricate shapes and details.
  • Revising basic tools while exploring new materials (charcoal, graphite pencils).
  • Fun Activity: Create "A Basket of Fruits with Shadows."

Week 2: Bring Life to Objects with Light and Shadow

  • Understanding the play of light and dark.
  • Shading exercises to bring 3D effects to flat drawings.
  • Fun Activity: Draw and shade "A Glowing Candle at Night."

Week 3: Textures that Talk

  • Learn how to create textures (wood, metal, fur).
  • Using advanced techniques like stippling and scribbling.
  • Fun Activity: Draw "A Fluffy Cat on a Rug."
